What happens in Vegas.............................

Well, Jeff and I just got back from going to Las Vegas last week. While we were there, my parents watched Tyler. Here is a picture Dad took while Tyler was swinging. Isn't he cute??!! What a big boy! We had a good time in Vegas - except for the fact that it is super expensive! I mean, a burger and drink cost Jeff like $16!! Seriously. While he was at the Conexpo thing, I spent the days laying by the pool and walking around the Casino's shops. It was pretty cool. The beers were like $7 a piece, so we waited till the free hospitality room in the evening to drink - but let me tell you, by then it was on! We ended up smuggling out bottles of Miller Lite. And by smuggling, I mean, laughing like idiots while we tried to "hide" 4 beers a piece in our hands. With these kind of brain cells passed on to him, Tyler has no chance! Our room was older, but really cool. There was a Jacuzzi tub right next to the bed and a huge mirror above. Bow chica bow wow. (that was my porn music). I can tell you the most that mirror got used, was while I stared up at it and wondered how often they had to clean it. Ahhh, to be a newlywed again! Ha Ha! On the plane ride back, we sat next to the craziest guy. He just kept talking and talking and talking and talking. I finally gave him one of my gossip magazines, hoping that'd shut him up (nope). Anyway, it was an awesome trip. On saturday we celebrated Jeff's birthday at a couple bars. Tyler was gonna go to Grandma and Grandpa's again, but he ended up staying with Katie Cronin. I felt bad leaving him again so soon! Well needless to say, Jeff drank a little too much! But I think he enjoyed himself. My sister & Jason and Michael & Shauna all came out. It was alot of fun! This past Monday, Jeff went somewhere in Kansas to do some hunting with a salesman. He said the lodge they stayed at was a "Man's Dream". Logs, steaks, dead things, lakes...you get the picture. Funny, I thought a "man's dream" consisted of at least 2 ladies, free beer, no bitching, and beer guts being hot. Hmmmmmmm. He may end up going out of town again tomorrow to Texas to watch a rodeo with one of his other salesmen. Lucky guy! Quite the jet-setter. Well, I just wanted to keep everybody posted with our super-interesting lives, so I'll check back soon. Love ya all!

New Pictures

Hello all!
Well my dear friend Jane pointed out to me that I haven't updated this in a while. So HERE! Snotty Pants! Kidding - I love ya! Lets see, Lets see - whats been going on with us? Well Tyler has upped his vocabulary quite a bit. He says "Uh Oh" which is totally cute. What I find interesting is that he always uses it in the right context. How do they figure that stuff out? He's an expert at saying "Kitty Cat" - probably because we have like 200 of them running around the house. I have become "Mommy" instead of "Mama" and he still says "Bobby" all the time. We have no idea who or what Bobby is. Jeff thinks he's my boyfriend that comes over during the day. I wish! He said "Nana" today and pointed to the bowl where the bananas are. That kid would eat 10 bananas a day if I'd let him. And anything bread. I mean, he freakin loves bread. Dr. Atkins would roll in his grave if he knew the amount of bread this kid eats. But the one thing he hates is fish sticks! I mean, doesn't every kid like fake processed fish in the shape of a convenient stick? I don't know how he knows he doesn't like them - because he won't even try one. He just picks them up and takes them off his plate and puts them in the cup holder on his high chair tray. Then he gives me this look like "Seriously? We're going to play this again?" So then I break down and give him his 40th banana of the day. Well enough of that - I'll switch gears a little and let you know whats going on in the rest of our lives. I'm loving working at home - I've pretty much got a schedule down so that I accomplish everything I want to in a day. I'm still doing a little bit of my SugarBean stuff. The craft fairs should start up in the next couple months - so that'll get me some more business. Jeff is working a ton. He works all day and then comes home and works. He's been sick the last few days so he's been hibernating in the bedroom. Besides that - we're all doing well. I'll get some new pictures posted and try to check back in a little more often. Take care and check back soon!

Well, I just finished my CPR training class today. I'm now certified in Infant, child, & adult CPR. I also learned what to do for a choking victim. It's unbelievable how easy it really is and yet so many people don't know how to do it. Even if you try to muddle your way thru it, you're probably not doing it correctly. This should be a requirement for everyone. I had an opportunity to help someone and because at the time I didn't know CPR - I just stood there helplessly. Maybe it wouldn't have helped - but maybe it would have. I feel better knowing that if something ever happened to Tyler or anyone else, that I'd be able to do my best to help. Regret it a terrible thing.

Shauna took this picture while we were hunting pumpkins this last October. I love how it's all angled! HaHa! Some of my most favorite pictures of Tyler have been taken by her. She has much more talent than she realizes! (You do!!!)

Welcome!

Hello all,
I've really started to enjoy blogging on other sites, so lucky for you all, I've decided to start my own! I'm like Doogie Howser without the child prodigy thing. Or Carrie Bradshaw without the awesome New York life thing. Boo hiss. So anyway - thank you for seeing me off on this great journey. I hope I am able to instill you with more randomness than you ever thought possible. Of course, we'll talk about Jeff and Tyler and everything else I love, but for now I just wanted to dip my feet in and say "sit back and enjoy!"
